We’ve recently received some feedback from our client, Jennifer Isles. We love having her in the studio and here is what she says about us:
“For those that know me, they know how much I bang on about Lagree. ‘It’s the hardest but best exercise I’ve ever done’, is my typical response. I normally describe it as a high intensity-low impact workout, which is a combination of full body strength, cardio, balance, toning and endurance. Ultimate mind-over-matter exercise and nothing like I’ve done before.
“I am passionate about health and fitness. For me, exercise is non-negotiable. I enjoy the physical and health benefits and how it makes me feel.
“My friend, Alex, introduced me to Love Lagree in March 2019 and since then I’ve been hooked. Using the unique Megaformer machine, combined with a whole lot of determination, resistance and lots of moves like squats, lunges, planks, push ups, bicep curls. It’s a twist on traditional exercises, taking them to a whole new level.
“[In a Love Lagree class], we work through sets lasting between 1-2 minutes, with varied resistance, using no power (it’s not the environment to demonstrate how much weight you can handle and how quick you can move), we work at a slow, controlled pace. A key part is the mind-body connection. You are utterly present in that studio for 50 minutes, focusing on the control of each movement, sucking up the pain.
“Not only is the energy from all the Love Lagree instructors great and massively motivating, but every session is slightly different, constantly pushing you to what you think is your limit. And yep, that burning sensation in your muscles from kick-off remains throughout. That’s one of the best bits – the feeling you’re really working. You’re constantly improving so as you improve, the workout gets harder. You increase resistance or intensity to overload the muscles.
“Lagree delivers serious results, both physically but also in performance. I can guarantee you will feel the difference in strength and stamina in whatever other exercise you do. Here are details of our Christmas classes.
We know many of you will be making time to celebrate with family or friends this Festive season, so we’re offering slightly fewer slots than usual, during the Christmas week.
We will be CLOSED on:
- Monday 23rd December
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
The studio will be OPEN on the following days but there will be a reduced number of classes:
- Friday 27th December
- Saturday 28th December
- Sunday 29th December
- Monday 30th December
- Thursday 2nd January
